GREEN CORNER

Little information can be given regarding this 1991 series due to legal reasons; however no guide to television would be complete without at least mentioning it. It is hard to write about Green Corner without remembering how close it brought the world to destruction.

This upheaval was due to an episode revealing something that was so true but so utterly terrifying that it shattered everyone's faith in world religions. The resulting chaos and looting has mentally scarred many. When order was finally restored every episode of Green Corner was destroyed. Since then no one has spoken about the ‘truth’.

In many ways this is unfortunate as Green Corner was up until that point just a dull little show about the fruit and vegetable section of a super market with one episode where the meaning of life was discovered within a melon.

TRIVIA:

Most of the shows budget went into buying fresh stocks of vegetables and fruit for each episode. To compensate the cast and crew for their low wages they were allowed to consume the produce at the end of each episode.

The Episode ‘Hot Potatoes’ was filmed live in the Dallas Quality Star Super Mart. No one in the store noticed they were filming.

Actor Walter Activon hated vegetables so is actually eating sausages dyed orange when he is required to bite into a carrot.
